IIMB-CRERI Areas for Collaboration

The goal of IIMB-CRERI is to be the nation's leading centre of excellence in real estate studies.  It aims to provide a broad knowledge base and inter-disciplinary research backed by credible data and rigorous analysis on various aspects of this core industry.  Clearly, an effort such as this cannot be done alone. The Centre will seek to build collaborative networks and alliances with real-estate think-tanks, government agencies, industry groups and policy makers.  This will facilitate meaningful dialogue and cooperation amongst various stakeholders.

Networking ties for this initiative can be in the form of sharing data and knowledge or providing financial support. Government agencies and regulators such as NHB, credit providers such as banks and housing finance companies, and industry bodies such as CREDAI, can strengthen the initiative with data collection and warehousing efforts.  Unifying disparate data sources, improving access and quality of data could be some of the value added services.  Our intent is to make most of our data and research available to all at no cost to encourage interest and inquiry among the broader researching community.  In short, the initiative seeks to be a one-stop hub for stakeholders in Indian real estate and its related sectors.
