IIMB-CRERI Team

Currently the IIMB-CRERI is led by Professor Venky Panchapagesan, an Associate Professor of Finance at IIMB.  He joined IIMB in September 2011 after spending almost 20 years in the US in academia and in the financial services industry.  He has held senior executive positions with Goldman Sachs and Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund, and has been invited to be the Nasdaq Stock Market's economist for a year.  He was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and has published extensively in top peer-reviewed global academic and practitioner journals. Ms. MadalasaVenkataraman is a full-time researcher at IIMB- CRERI.  She is also an Adjunct faculty at IIM-I and IIM Rohtak, where she teaches finance elective courses in investments and wealth management. Prior to this, Madalasa was associated with the Center of Excellence in Urban Development, Center for Public Policy, IIMB, where she conducted a Land Market assessment study for the city of Bangalore. Ms. Uma Sitaraman: Senior Research Associate at IIMB- CRERI. She holds a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. She has over 15 years experience in the financial sector, including 8 in the US.  Prior to joining IIMB, she was Vice President, Quantitative services, at AMBA Research India (Pvt) Ltd.
