Writing Bootcamp for Doctoral Students

The Centre for Management Communication conducted a writing bootcamp from May 2–6 2022 for IIMB doctoral students who are currently writing their dissertations. Dr. Swati Bandi, faculty of the Centre, conducted the intensive four day writing bootcamp, which included informational sessions, writing and review exercises, and concentrated writing blocks all intended to provide participants clarity, coherence, and guidance to navigate their writing journey.

The amount of time allotted for writing and self-reflection was the highlight of the boot camp. While this could be self-driven, having Prof Swati facilitate these sessions and discussion of these reflections with the faculty and peers enabled learning from others' experiences as well.
