PGP student team is second runner-up in Ethics Challenge contest by CFA Institute

12 October, 2021, Bengaluru: A team consisting of students of IIMB’s two-year full-time MBA, the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), has been adjudged the second runner-up in the Ethics Challenge, which is a competition between university-sponsored teams to analyze a case which contains a variety of ethical dilemmas. The Ethics Challenge is developed and implemented independently by the CFA Society in conjunction with the CFA Institute.
The IIMB team members were: Latasha Tanwar, Madhu Sudan Chhangani and Srishti Saxena, all students of the PGP batch of 2020-22.
The case for the contest is developed by the CFA Society India in conjunction with the CFA Institute and incorporates common ethical issues and the application of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. Teams of three graduate students create a presentation based on their analysis and present it to a panel of judges. The presentation primarily focuses on violations of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, as well as recommendations on how these violations should be addressed.
