Centre for Software and IT Management to host talk by Dr. Abhipsa Pal in the webinar series ‘Top IS Publications from India’ on September 29
13 SEPTEMBER, 2021: The webinar series ‘Top IS Publications from India’, initiated by the Centre for Software and IT Management (CSITM) at IIM Bangalore, aims to honor and publicize some of the top research papers on Information Systems successfully published in reputed management journals (FT50 ABDC A*) by research scholars from Indian B-schools. The authors will not only present their studies, but also share the challenges faced and insights realized from their publication journeys. It is especially hoped that budding IS researchers attending these webinars will gain enough information, guidance, and inspiration to confidently target reputed journals themselves. This initiative will also allow the Indian IS community to know their published scholars better, which may unlock potential opportunities for future collaboration as well.
In the first webinar of this series, on September 29th, from 3 pm to 4:30 pm IST, Dr. Abhipsa Pal, faculty at IIM Kozhikode, will present her study on mobile payment technologies that analyzes the factors impacting the usage and the uneven trajectory of citizens’ usage behavior in India.
