28 May, 2024, Bengaluru: The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) Seminar Committee, as part of its Seminar Series, hosted a session on, ‘Strategic HR and Industry Evolution: Navigating the Future of Global Enterprises and the Pharmaceutical Sector in India’, on 22 May 2024.  

The session featured senior executives from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, namely, Sally Paull, Executive VP, Human Resources; Rick Hall, Senior VP, Human Resources, and Rajiv Onat, India Head. 

Sally Paull offered an inspiring narrative on Regeneron's journey – the firm’s evolution from its inception to becoming a leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Reflecting on her own journey from military intelligence to HR leadership, she provided a compelling view on career growth – leveraging diverse skills for top leadership roles. 

Opportunities in the pharma industry were also looked into – the session explored the relevance of the growing pharma industry for professionals from IT, HR and other operational functions, uncovering pathways to enter and thrive in this sector. 

Sharing leadership insights, Sally spoke about the core qualities she values in mid-level and senior managers, offering crucial tips for those aspiring for leadership positions. 

Focusing on the aspect of digital innovation, Rajiv Onat provided a snapshot of Regeneron’s digitization strategy, emphasizing the role of technology in driving corporate growth and operational efficiency.
