A Casebook on Corporate Governance and Stewardship

N Balasubramanian

This book has selected cases which will help in further cementing the understanding of the fundamentals of good governance in the corporate sector. Cases based on the Indian corporate ambience would be helpful to students and practitioners in India (including expatriates working in the country) in better appreciating these principles under local operating conditions. The result is the current volume of cases mostly based on the Indian experience, with a few covering international situations as well. Most of these cases have been extensively used in business school teaching and director training programmes at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and elsewhere with considerable success.
