The N. S. Ramaswamy Pre-Doctoral (NSR Pre-doc) Fellowship is a specially designed programme that aims to increase the social diversity of management academia in India. The Fellowship is for a duration of one-year and is designed to help the selected Pre-Doctoral fellows successfully apply to Doctoral programmes in management and allied disciplines. The programme helps in developing a research topic, understanding data collection methods, planning a viable proposal for a doctorate, and exploring key skills required for doctoral study. The NSR Pre-doc Fellowship is available in the following disciplinary areas within management scholarship and research: Decision Sciences, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management, Public Policy, Production and Operations Management, and Strategy.
