Projects led/ initiated in district

  • Submitted a proposal for creation of a counselling cell at the district level- Conducted an online survey of 34 schools to identify the problems faced by schools in guidance and counselling. Created a proposal for an online platform and a counselling cell to be created at the district level.  

  • Mobilized candidates for an “Employability Skills” training conducted by TCS in Dehradun- TCS collaborated with district Dehradun for an online training programme.  

  • Submitted District Skill Development Plan for FY 2021-22- Conducted Youth Aspirations Survey, Employer-Employee survey, and survey of SHGs to prepare the DSDP. 

  •  Demand Collection and Mobilization of candidates for training in healthcare sector. 

  • Developing a “DSC calendar” for FY 2022-23- Prepared a rough draft of the calendar. Discussion will take place during the DSC workshop.  

  • Working on a proposal for a “Computer Skills Lab” In one of the blocks of Dehradun- Identified the challenges by visiting schools and colleges for counselling sessions. The proposal is yet to be completed.  

  • Conducted “Youth Aspirations Survey- Received more than 1000 responses- The survey was aimed at identifying the job roles according to the aspirations of the youth.
