CSITM at IIMB and INAIS India Chapter invite applications for ‘Scholarship in the AI Age’

Last date for the application deadline is 29 November, 2025

October 28, 2025, Bengaluru: The Centre for Software and IT Management (CSITM) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), in collaboration with the Association for Information Systems – India Chapter (INAIS), invites applications for participation in the two-day workshop titled ‘Scholarship in the AI Age,’ scheduled for 22nd and 23rd January 2026 at IIM Bangalore. The last date for submitting applications is 29 November 2025.

The intensive two-day workshop aims to explore how the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not merely introducing new tools but fundamentally transforming the very nature of academic research and inquiry. In this rapidly evolving landscape, scholars are called upon to move beyond being passive users of technology and become strategic, critical thinkers who can harness AI’s potential responsibly, ethically, and with intellectual rigor.

The session is designed to be a dialogue-driven engagement rather than a “how-to.” It is intended for scholars and educators who want to comprehend the profound, structural changes that AI is bringing to research, as well as build the sophisticated mindset required for this new age. We will not give quick fixes. Instead, participants will have a high-level discussion about how to design, perform, and publish high-impact research in a world where AI is always collaborating, criticizing, and catalyzing. The goal is to provide you with the frameworks to lead, not just adapt to, the future of research.

Senior faculty members from IIMs and IITs will be facilitators at the workshop and will lead discussions in the classroom, breakout sessions, and the Editors’ Roundtable on AI in Peer Review and Dissemination.
