Strengthening of the District Skill Development Commitee (DSDC): Reconstituted the DSC and formed sub-committees, each looking at Planning & Monitoring, Mobilisation & Capacity Building, Industry Engagement & Entrepreneurship, and Rural Transformation respectively:

Developed the first Skill Development Cell in the State: Ideated and facilitated the creation of the fist District Skill Development Cell to serve as nodal skill development office at the district level in Ri Bhoi. The same has been replicated in West Garo Hills district.

Developed the first District Skill Dashboard in the State: Ideated, planned and created the first and only District Skill Dashboard in Meghalaya for effective monitoring and evaluation of all skill training activities in Ri Bhoi.

Drafted the District Skill Development Plan for 2020 and 2021: Conducted a thorough in-depth situational analysis of the skill ecosystem in Ri Bhoi. Conducted a Skill Gap Analysis and identified priorities for the district’s skill ecosystem in both short term and long term.

Developed the Block Action Plans for Farmers’ Collectivisation for Upscaling of Production and Marketing Systems (FOCUS) program: Clustered all villages in Ri Bhoi, identified primary products in each cluster and set timelines for mobilisation through partner NGOs.

Assisted in Conceptualisation of the One Skill One Talent (OSOT) program: Conducted a state wide mapping of potential skills, talents, infrastructure and resources for feasibility assessment.

Conducted Aspirational Mapping of i) Youth in Schools and ii) Youth engaged in Economic Activities: Carried out two sample size surveys of 1000 youth in all four blocks of the districts to capture their aspirations and skilling requirements.

Analysed Employer-Employee Absorption pattern in the district: Surveyed new employers and established employers to understand the self-employment scenario between the two and their absorption trends.
