IIMB #3 globally in career progress: FT MBA rankings 2025

EPGP continues to rank among global best MBA programmes
17 February, 2025, Bengaluru: The one-year full time MBA for experienced professionals—Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) at IIM Bangalore—continues to cement its place among the global best MBAs with the release of the Financial Times (FT) MBA rankings 2025. The rankings have reiterated IIMB’s position among the top B-schools worldwide, with a global rank of #57, for its delivery of high-quality management education across various dynamic formats.
The report has credited EPGP for leading the nation in major categories including Aims Achieved at 86%, Women on Board at 40%, an International Course Experience rank of #8, and a Career Progress rank of #3, up from #6 in 2024. Scores have also indicated a notable increase in Weighted Salary and a 27% increase in Female Students among the cohort.
In a major leap, IIMB also halved its Sector Diversity rank, from #94 to #47 in 2025, through its industry representation, global collaborations, multidisciplinary research, and industry-aligned learning experiences.
Now in its 15th year, EPGP has over one thousand graduates, many of whom hold senior leadership positions worldwide in industries such as IT, banking, consulting, FMCG, and retail. The programme’s strength lies in its rigorous yet flexible curriculum that is experience-rich, case-forward, and sets the foundation for grounded, effective and lifelong impact.
“One of the many ways IIMB chose to add value to the industry and practice of management was by building an international curriculum, such as that of EPGP, which embeds students into the field, in different parts of the world, among industry frontrunners, decision makers and innovators, to understand the complex changes and challenges shaping the world. The EPGP has actively benefited from IIMB’s global partnerships. We are delighted to continue to have a strong global standing among leading B-schools”, said IIMB Director Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan.
