IIM Bangalore excels in Financial Times MiM Ranking 2024
Ranked amongst the world’s Top 50 B-schools
Bengaluru, September 09, 2024: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) shines in the Financial Times (FT) Master in Management (MiM) Ranking 2024. The Institute has been ranked #41 globally, underlining its consistent performance among the top 50 schools globally across multiple formats of business management education.
IIM Bangalore has scored well on parameters such as International Course Experience rank, Weighted Salary, Salary Percentage, Value for Money rank, Aims Achieved, Career Service rank, Female Students, and International Work Mobility rank.
The FT MiM ranking evaluates the world’s top business schools based on 19 key criteria, with alumni feedback accounting for 56% of the ranking’s weight. This emphasis on graduate outcomes ensures that the ranking reflects the real-world impact of an institution’s education. The remaining 44% of the ranking is derived from 11 criteria based on school data, providing a comprehensive assessment of institutions across various parameters. By considering factors such as return on investment, career advancement, ESG, carbon footprint, and diversity, the FT MiM ranking offers a holistic view of an institution’s quality and performance.
The ranking also underlines the continuing excellence of Business schools in their regions and international partnerships. The ability of IIM Bangalore to adapt to the changing times has been a key factor in keeping its MBA programmes among the world’s best.
