IIMB doctoral student Aishvarya selected for Intel India Research Fellowship Program 2021
The one-year fellowship focusses on developing industry-ready manpower through mentorship, research and internship opportunities
24 November, 2021, Bengaluru: Aishvarya, doctoral student of IIM Bangalore from the Decision Sciences area, has been selected for the prestigious Intel India Research Fellowship Program 2021. Her research proposal is about using AI techniques to identify factors influencing user’s choice of product.
Aishvarya has been offered the fellowship by the review committee for her research project for the year 2021-22, from among a huge number of applicants.
Congratulating Aishvarya on her accomplishment, Professor Haritha Saranga, Chairperson of the PhD programme and faculty in the Production & Operations Management area at IIMB, said, “I hope you will inspire other Phd students to target and achieve such fellowships. We look forward to seeing your work being published in top-tier journals in your field.”
According to their website, the Intel India Research Fellowship Program, a one-year fellowship, focusses on developing industry-ready manpower through identifying and nurturing exceptional talent from academia for the Indian technology ecosystem, through mentorship, research and internship opportunities for students.
