IIMB & Indian Finance Association to host Finance Day on December 18
IIM Bangalore, along with the Indian Finance Association (IFA), will host ‘Finance Day’ on December 18 (Friday), 2020, from 02.30 pm to 07.00 pm.
The event will include a keynote on ‘Inferences from Big Data’ by Professor Raghavendra Rau, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. This will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Economic recovery post COVID: Search for a right alphabet’, featuring senior journalist Tamal Bandopadhyay, Satyaki Ghosh, CEO – Domestic Textiles Division, Aditya Birla Group, and Vishal Anand Kanvaty, Chief Market Innovation, NPCI. The discussion will be moderated by Deep Narayan Mukherjee, Associate Director, Risk Management & Advanced Analytics, Boston Consultancy Group. Professor Robert Webb, McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia, will deliver a talk on ‘Risk Capital and Risk Appetite’.

The conference will be led by Professsor Ashok Banerjee, President, IFA and Professor Sankarshan Basu, faculty of the Finance & Accounting area of IIM Bangalore and Secretary, IFA.
