Professional Appointments/Work Experience

  • Team Lead Manager and Policy Maker in Parivartan Trust(NGO), Rajkot, Gujarat, 1-1-2015 to 30-12-2019.

Projects led/ initiated in district

  • FPO Strengthening- Strengthening the forward linkage of Banana (ODOP) in form of Banana products in Anand district- Main focus on establishment of processing units and Storage houses.  

  • Bread and Butter for Rag Pickers- Pilot level Implementation of Livelihood Enhancement project for Rag Picker, helping 1500 rag pickers to earn regular livelihood. Waste Management and waste collection for manure making is main goal of the project. 

  • Covid Volunteer Training – Reskilling and upskilling of 1,500 recent Health worker with advance technology. Training of PHCs staff to meet the demand of Covid Warrier at the rural part of the district, around 50 PHCs have been selected 

  • Organic Farmer Producer marketMain focus on livelihood creation by Contract farming with use of modern technology and under the guidance of experts. Main aim of the project is to increase the earning of the farmers and provide them market for their produce. 

  • The Aatmnirbhar Nari- Around 250 Local women (BPL card holder, MNREGA worker, Widows) have been connected with SHGs and Vadtal Trust to help them in earning the livelihood by jewellery making by sitting at home only. 

  • District Skill Development Plan- Study of demand VS Capacity. Proposal of some courses which has demand in next 5 years has been suggested in planning. 

  • Assistance for MoUs with industries for Dual system of training and on job training. 

  • Capacity building for Poultry workerTargeted 250 poultry workers who have lost their livelihood in Covid-19 pandemic by engage them with Poultry Contract Farming Model.  

  • Promotion of Green Energy- Anand has witnessed India’s 1st ever Solar Cooperative, led by IWMI Tata trust Promotion of green energy and livelihood creation by solar based irrigation and sell of surplus energy to MGVCL. 

  • Capacity building for Gems and Jewellery Secor – 2 circuits has been identified Vadtal cloth and jewellery making and Khambhat Agate. Informally training with help of NGO, provided livelihood opportunities to 5000 local persons nearby location of circuit till the Diwali.
