International Immersion 2022
EPGP's International Immersion module is a well-constructed program to equip leaders with global business perspectives. Through classroom discussions and globally focused case studies, students will understand the macro-level business dynamics and the economic environment. The module will facilitate students to enhance their enterprise knowledge, leadership skills and business acumen from a global perspective. Students will work on projects and presentations focused on contemporary economic issues.
The curriculum is designed with great emphasis on industry involvement, understanding the start-up ecosystem, and acclimatizing with the business nexus of the continent.
This year the EPGP Class of 2023 is divided into two groups, visiting ESCP Business School – Paris, France and IE Business School – Madrid, Spain, respectively
International Immersion 2020
The International Immersion module in the EPGP is designed to provide students with insights into the economic, social and cultural spheres of emerging economies or developed countries. Participants are hosted by a top business school in the chosen country for two weeks. They attend lectures with specific focus on business and industry and make field visits to familiarise themselves with local challenges and opportunities.
Last year due to the pandemic, the students attended an online version of the immersion with Friedrich- Alexander University Erlangen-Numberg. A total of 75 EPGP students completed an intensive immersion programme for a week.
Term four of the EPGP is devoted to the International Immersion module which is designed to give students an opportunity to broaden learning and deepen knowledge about an increasingly globalized economic environment. Structured around a visit to an emerging economy such as China, Russia, Brazil and South Africa or a developed one in the Europe or in the Asian region like Singapore or South Korea, the module provides insights into the country’s economic, social, political and cultural life.
The class spends two weeks in the country and is hosted by one of the top local business schools. They attend lectures on the country's economy and society with specific emphasis on issues affecting business and industry; go on field visits to local plants and corporate offices; meet business and government leaders; attend cultural events and visit historical sites to help them understand the intricacies of the country.
This year the EPGP (2020) batch was divided into three groups, visiting IE Business School Madrid Spain, KAIST Seoul S Korea and FUDAN School of Business , Shanghai, China respectively.
