The TCI-IIMB SCSL is dedicated to advancing Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) practices in India through rigorous research and impactful publications. The lab focuses on a wide range of critical areas, including the decarbonization of transportation, Reverse Supply Chains, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) guidelines, Circular Business Models, Sustainable Procurement, Climate Adaptation, Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem, Market Based Measures, Biofuels and other allied subjects. 

Through its research activities, the lab aims to generate insights and best practices that can drive sustainable change in supply chain operations across industries. Supplier Sustainability Program
This case study focuses on a leading global company specializing in automation and energy management solutions. Renowned for its vast scale and influence, the company has taken substantial steps towards establishing a robust Sustainability Program for its extensive supplier ecosystem. The initiatives it has undertaken, coupled with the systematic processes it has implemented, are currently being meticulously documented as part of this case study.

Green Steel in India
One of India's top steel companies has achieved a remarkable feat by spearheading the introduction of the country's first green steel. Their transformative journey, from the initial idea to full-scale implementation and production, is now being meticulously documented in the form of a comprehensive case study. This study delves into the myriad aspects of their journey, encompassing the challenges they faced, the innovative solutions they devised, the internal support they garnered, and the pricing and costing considerations they navigated. Additionally, it explores their strategies for naming, branding, certification, and sales, providing a holistic view of their pioneering efforts in sustainable steel production. 

Capacity planning and management of EV battery swapping station 
This case study centres around a pioneering company at the forefront of electric mobility adoption in India. Renowned for its innovative approach, the company has revolutionized the electric vehicle (EV) industry with its cutting-edge EV battery swapping stations, providing swift and efficient battery swapping solutions to both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) consumers.
