IIMB marks World Disability Day on 3 December with premiere of ‘Hum Ek Hain’ anthem
In collaboration with From Mug to Mike, track brings together specially-abled singers and students
3 December, 2024, Bengaluru: Celebrating World Disability Day on 3 December, From Mug to Mike, in collaboration with IIM Bangalore, will release the ‘Hum Ek Hain’ anthem which champions inclusion, diversity and acceptance in a profound and meaningful way.
The track, composed by Sunil Koshy, brings together specially-abled singers and students to emblemize the fact and serve as a reminder that we are all one.
The song and the accompanying music video will premiere at 4.15 pm in Classroom N-001.
Here at IIMB, we are devoted to building robust systems of accessibility and inclusion that ensure equal access to all. By partnering with students with special needs, the Office of Disability Services (ODS) breaks barriers, and rectifies inaccessible practices, creating structures for equitable educational experiences both in and out of the classroom.
Our disability inclusion framework has been recognized with the NCPEDP-Mphasis Universal Design Award 2012, for developing 'Equal Opportunity Policy', procuring 'Assistive Technology' and conducting focused initiatives for Persons with Disabilities.
