Programme Objective

AI and ML are important skills that every faculty in the data science, analytics and AI domain will require to excel in their profession. During this FDP, we will discuss various ML algorithms with its applications using Indian case studies across industries such as e-commerce, healthcare, IT, manufacturing, retail, supply chain, and sports. The participants will also learn core principles behind Neural Networks & Deep Learning and how to train and optimize neural networks.

  • Understand AI, ML, Statistical Learning (SL), DL, and their applications.
  • Learn to analyse data to gain insights using ML algorithms.
  • Learn Generative AI & Agentic AI and its applications.
  • Learn various supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms with
  • applications in solving business problems.
  • Learn data visualization and various types of visual charts using Tableau.
  • Understand how reinforcement and evolutionary algorithms are used.
  • Understand applications of ML in various functional areas & industries.
  • Learn Prescriptive Analytics techniques such as linear & integer programming.
  • Learn how to train and optimize basic neural networks, convolutional neural networks, and long short-term memory networks.
  • Hands-on experience with software such as Analytics Solver, MS Excel, Python, and Tableau.
