A fireside chat with alumnus Ajith Pai, COO, Delhivery, moderated by Prof. Abhoy K. Ojha

22 September, 2025, Bangalore: The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) at IIMB is about to host the next session as part of its EPGP Seminar Series 2025–26, featuring Ajith Pai, Chief Operating Officer of Delhivery. It will be held on 24th September 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Classroom N-201. The session, titled ‘Delivering at Scale: Leadership, Logistics, and Leverage,’ will take the form of a fireside chat moderated by Prof. Abhoy K. Ojha, Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management, IIMB.

The discussion will explore the essential components, like leadership to provide vision and empower teams, logistics to build efficient and responsive systems, and leveraging technology, partnerships, and process optimization for expanding operations at scale. The conversation will highlight how integrating agile methodologies, investing in supply chain technology, and developing nuanced leadership skills can drive sustainable growth.

Ajith Pai is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore’s PGDM programme (2006 - 2008). He has been a driving force in shaping Delhivery into India’s leading logistics services provider. He joined the company in the year 2013 and has served as both CFO and COO, building the financial and operational backbone that enabled Delhivery’s rapid expansion. Prior to Delhivery, he held leadership roles at the Lodha Group and began his career at Tata Consultancy Services.

The EPGP Seminar Series is a student-driven initiative designed to extend learning beyond the classroom by facilitating candid exchanges with leaders from diverse sectors, including FinTech, consulting, biotechnology, human resources, start-ups & venture capital, and finance.

This seminar promises to provide participants with valuable insights into the dynamics of scaling organizations and the leadership skills required to navigate complexity in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

About the Speaker

Ajith Pai has over 12 years of leadership experience at Delhivery, India’s largest fully integrated logistics services provider, where he has played a pivotal role in scaling operations. Having served as CFO for nearly six years and currently as COO since 2019, he has been instrumental in building Delhivery’s operational and financial backbone. He also held leadership roles at Lodha Group and Tata Consultancy Services.

An alumnus of IIM Bangalore (PGDM, 2008), Ajith was an active member of the student community, serving as Hostel Secretary, Treasurer of the Cultural Committee, and a member of the Students’ Affairs Council (SAC).
