After its first webinar on how to utilize LinkedIn as a medium for better job opportunities and the second one on practical implications of using Emailing as a medium better, the third webinar promises to enhance your communication skills as a leader and for managers who wish to be leaders. The webinar aims to give you practical insights into on field communication
The first step towards Leadership is to start communicating like one– you don’t have to wait until you get there! However, many managers may be unsure about what constitutes leadership communication skills, where to start and how to move forward.
In this webinar, Professor Bringi Dev will outline his view of what constitutes the fundamental communication skill set exhibited by leaders and provide insight into and input on how you might step-up your communication to higher levels. At the end of the session, you should be able to identify first-steps that you might choose to put into practice and accelerate your journey into the realm of leadership.
Prof. Bringi Dev is Professor of Practice & Chairperson, CenComm, the Centre for Management Communication at IIM Bangalore. He has over 35 years of experience in the corporate, entrepreneurial and academic areas. A communication evangelist, he leverages his academic and industry expertise to deliver practical, result-oriented learning to students of management at the post-graduate level. HE has held positions in IDG Media India, Compaq India, HMT Limited, IBM India, Wipro, Sperry-Univac and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Bangalore Chapter, amongst others. In an academic career spanning close on two decades, Prof. Dev has taught at IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore and other educational institutions.
