IIM Bangalore and SELCO Foundation to host Impact/Failure Conclave on April 13 & 14

Experts will discuss livelihoods, health, education, finance, housing and sanitation, and sustainable energy access

09 April, 2018, Bengaluru: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, in association with the SELCO Foundation, will host the ‘Impact/Failure (IF)’ Conclave on April 13 and 14 (Friday and Saturday).

The objective of the conclave is to provide an open platform for an in depth and transparent discussion on the role of failure in development and to celebrate the learnings that emerge from them. The learnings can in turn help work towards desired outcomes and solving time-sensitive developmental problems that plague our society. Opening the dialogue on failure will act as an opportunity to take the stigma out of failures, take more risks, draw analogies and innovate.

Participants will include practitioners, students, entrepreneurs, academics, funders, investors, etc.

The conference will feature a multitude of experts and speakers who will engage in panel discussions and track sessions cutting across themes like livelihoods, health, education, finance, housing and sanitation, and sustainable energy access. The participants will consist of individuals and organizations who understand the importance of transparency to ensure effectiveness and efficiency while addressing time-sensitive issues of poverty and climate change.
