Manish Sabharwal to deliver PGPPM ‘Policy Speak’ lecture on job creation challenges on September 28

Manish Sabharwal, Chairman and Co-founder of TeamLease Services, India’s largest staffing and human capital firm, will deliver a talk on ‘Job creation challenges - Can India create 1 million good jobs a month for next 10 years? Problems and solutions’, at the Policy Speak series, hosted by the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM), on September 28, 2016 at IIM Bangalore.

The PGPPM aims to deepen conceptual, technical and analytical skills for public policy making through interactive sessions with eminent people in the Indian policy domain through its ‘Policy Speak’ series. The PGPPM under its Public Policy Talk Series had organized another interesting talk on September 14, 2016, which saw Vivek Kaul, author and columnist, discussing 'The Exorbitant Privilege of the Dollar ‐ Why the US dollar is at the heart of the global financial system and how the politics and the economics of it moves'.

About the speaker: In 1996 Manish Sabharwal co-founded India Life, an HR outsourcing company that was acquired by Hewitt associates in 2002. Consequently he was CEO of Hewitt Outsourcing (Asia) in Singapore. Manish is a member of the National Skill Mission chaired by the Prime Minister and serves on various state and central government committees on education, employment and employability. He is a columnist for the Indian Express and got his MBA from the Wharton School in 1996. Manish is an alumni of Shriram College, Delhi and Mayo College, Ajmer.
