Projects led/ initiated in district

  • Youth Aspirational Survey, Belagavi. - To know the career aspirations of the youth in the district. 

  • Entrepreneurship Development Programme in co-ordination with Centre for Entrepreneurship Development of Karnataka- Providing training to 40 individuals which led to establishment of 4 industrial units. 

  • Preparation of District Skill Development Plan for Belagavi, Karnataka. Led to listing out 88 job roles which are in demand in the district to drive the economy of the district. 

  • Conduction of Job mela at the District Level. Led to placement of 390 candidates out of the 2490 candidates attending the job mela. This was the highest in the entire state of Karnataka conducted by the skill department from all the districts in Karnataka. 

  • Implementation of COVID-19 healthcare training in coordination with District Training Centre, Belagavi under the Health Department. Successfully completed the training with the highest pass % students securing certificates in the entire Karnataka state compared to other districts. 

  • Prepared a suggestive list of job roles suitable for Belagavi District. Listed 88 job roles. 

  • Skill training Center initiatives orientation to Industries and Industrial Associations. Aqeus Aerospace registered for skill trainings under the state skilling scheme. 

  • Implementation of skill trainings for Jail Inmates in co-ordination with Central Jail, Hindalga, Belagavi.  

  • Prepared questionnaire for Youth Aspirational survey, Karnataka with MGNF team Karnataka under Prof. Nayanathara (IIM Bangalore)
