IIMB's PGPEM alumni to host the three-day virtual Global Now! Fest 2020 from September 24 to 26

17 September, 2020, Bengaluru: The alumni of the two-year weekend MBA programme of IIM Bangalore, the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), will host the Global Now! Fest 2020 from September 24 to 26, 2020. It will be a live and virtual festival – three days of enlightening conversations and discussions to open the community of like-minded professionals, enthusiasts and academicians to a trove of knowledge and opportunity.

Registration for the global event is free. For registration and other details, please visit: http://thenowfest.com/ or https://www.linkedin.com/events/thenowfest/

The Global Now! Fest 2020 will be a one-of-a-kind digital fest dedicated to looking at the world through the lens of Behavioral Science, Data, Social Psychology, Culture, Entrepreneurship and the Art of Context. The event will feature expert speakers from across the world, from diverse fields like research, public policy, product design, data science, advertising, marketing, entrepreneurship and the creative industry to talk about their approach.

Apart from the sessions of world-famous experts, an important aspect of the Global Now! Fest 2020 will be an open global competition for students and individuals to work on two open briefs: a social cause/intervention and a commercial product/solution. The brief will be shared during the fest and students from the world over will have the chance at cracking the brief using principles of Behavioral Science, Gamification and Design Thinking in the four subsequent weeks, after the fest. This will give students a chance to hone their skills by using their classroom teachings to bring about an innovative solution.
