PGPEM students bag national runners-up spot at XLRI product management case competition

24 January, 2025, Bengaluru: Three students from Year-1 of the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) for Working Executives, Bargavi A K, Gethaara Gowri Gowthami N, Rakesh S, emerged as national runners-up in the tech track of the product management competition— Ensemble Valhalla, organized by Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur. The team competed against 1233 teams from premier management institutes across the country.
The competition challenged participants to design innovative product strategies to address emerging issues in the ed-tech sector. The IIMB team’s concept, PrepSphere, introduced a centralized MBA preparation application that harnesses AI, blockchain, and gamification to optimize the exam preparation journey.
PrepSphere showcased integrated hyper-personalized study plans, blockchain-backed certifications, and VR/AR-powered mentorship, tailored to provide a seamless, user-friendly learning experience. A key highlight was its commitment to accessibility, which sought to offer affordable pricing and regional language support for Tier-2 and Tier-3 city users. The roadmap also included partnerships with leading institutions such as IIMs and scalability into other advanced education programs.
The judges commended the team’s deep understanding of market gaps, innovative use of technology, and clear vision for sustainable user engagement.
