Projects led/ initiated in district

Initiated Pilot Projects to improve quality of training: 

  • Son-District library Revival Project- A project to revive the district library, managed to secure 24 lakhs from MPLAD fund. 

  • Son-Sewayojan career counselling and Personality development Session- A project led by fellow, conducted sessions at colleges, ITI (Industrial Training Institute) and Polytechnic and training centers 

  • Son-Navgurukul software developer training Pilot project- A fully funded project led by fellow in convergence with Navgurukul organisation for girls. 

Research and Documentation: 

  • Conducted Youth Aspiration Survey in the district in consultation with various stakeholder 

  • Skill Mapping - Mapped migrants’ workers’ skill footprint in the district in wake of Covid-19 induced reverse migration.  

Institutional Strengthening: 

  • DSDP - Prepared District Skill Development Plan in convergence with various stakeholders 

  • Niti Aayog Indicators -Worked to improve Sonbhadra’s NITI Aayog’s skill development Key performing indicators (KPIs)
