19 May 2020, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore’s Behavioural Sciences Lab will host a webinar on ‘Consumer Behavioural Experimentation in Lab and Field’ on June 02, 2020. Prof. Anirban Mukhopadhyay, Chair Professor, Lifestyle International Professor of Business, Associate Dean of Business and Management (Undergraduate Studies) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), will deliver the talk.

Prof. Mukhopadhyay will discuss the appropriateness of laboratory versus field experiments, and the possible impact of the current and future (post-pandemic) world order on experimental research in consumer psychology.

Prof. Mukhopadhyay got his Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Marketing from Columbia University and MBA from IIM Bangalore. He is widely published in top-tier journals across the field of marketing and psychology. His research interests include consumer motivation and self-regulation, food psychology and marketing, multi-method inquiries, and behavioural experimentation in laboratory and field settings.
