Campus Culture and Inclusivity
Integral to IIMB’s philosophy has been the value placed on social relevance and impact. Diversity and inclusiveness are essential aspects of the institute’s pursuit of its vision and mission.
IIMB has cultivated a community—comprising faculty, staff, students, and alumni—where learning, belonging, and self-discovery are seamlessly integrated into the fabric of the institute.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion was established in 2010 to address the needs of students with disabilities on the IIMB Campus. To promote a culture of trust and equal opportunity, IIMB’s Student Welfare Office (SWO)—led by a faculty member as the Chairperson of Student Welfare and supported by a Student Welfare Officer—provides dedicated resources for the overall and everyday well-being of the student.
