Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its components is now available for managers who aspire to become competent decision makers
22 APRIL, 2022: IIMBx, the digital learning vertical of IIM Bangalore, launched a programme called ‘AI for Managers’ to make the knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its components, such as Statistical Learning, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, accessible to a pool of interested managers who aspire to become competent decision makers.
In keeping with the industry demands for skilled personnel in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore(IIMB) launched online-blended Certificate Programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Managers. The total duration of the programme is 16 months, which includes 11 online modular courses. It draws on the expertise of IIM Bangalore’s renowned faculty in combination with industry-oriented learning pedagogy to provide hands on experience.
One-fourth of the applicants to the programme have international exposure and all come with work experience in various sectors like IT Products/Services, Manufacturing, Finance, Education, E-Commerce, Legal etc.
Prof Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director IIMB, Prof U Dinesh Kumar, Programme Director and Rangaraj Sriramulu, digital evangelist and keynote speaker, were present at the inauguration. Prof Rishikesha Krishnan shared his views on IIMB’s online pedagogy vision and emphasized on self-motivation as “there is unbridled joy in learning”. He also emphasised the industry-relevant programme structure.
In his keynote, Rangaraj shared his AI-driven learnings and experiences as a business leader. He said that he learnt the different aspects of Artificial Intelligence from IIMB faculty Prof. U Dinesh Kumar.
