2 September, 2024, Bengaluru: 14 September 2024 marks the launch of the book ‘Exploring Nature: Flora and Fauna of IIM Bangalore’ at the Bangalore International Centre (BIC) Library, 7, 4th Main Road, Domlur II Stage, Bengaluru 560 071, from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The volume, a visual journey through the flora and fauna of our campus, is a narrative of resilience, coexistence, and the profound connection between education and the environment.

The event will feature distinguished panelists and co-authors of the book—S Karthikeyan, Chief Naturalist, Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR); Priya Venkatesh, Founder, The Naturalist School; IIMB faculty Prof. G Shainesh, Marketing area alongside P S Narayan, Global Head of Sustainability, Wipro. The panel will explore ‘Embracing Biodiversity for a Nature-Inclusive Bangalore,’ delving into how, despite urban challenges, our campus serves as a model for creating spaces that harmonize academia and ecology.
