IIMB hosts Faculty Development Program on Machine Learning with Business Applications

24 May, 2018: The Data Centre & Analytics Lab (DCAL) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), in association with the Analytics Society of India (ASI,) has organised a five-day faculty development program, starting May 21.

The program has been designed to provide in-depth knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms that can be used for fact-based decision-making using real case studies and understand how machine learning algorithms are used for automation and innovation.

Professor U Dinesh Kumar, Chairperson, DCAL, and faculty from the Decisions Sciences area at IIMB, is the program director. A total of 116 faculty members from 73 B-schools and engineering institutions are participating in the program. Over 70% of the participants are from regions outside of Bangalore.
