10 March, 2022, Bengaluru: Mamata Anurag Salakapurapu, student of IIM Bangalore’s two-year weekend MBA: Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), has been adjudged one of the five Dynamic Delegates (besides the top three winners) at the ‘Mock Indian Parliament’, conducted by the Public Policy Club of IIM Bangalore in collaboration with the Public Policy Group of IIM Udaipur, during February 22 to 27, 2022.

The first round of the contest was a quiz covering topics of Indian History, Polity, Economics and General Awareness. In the second round, participants were invited to submit a short video of about three minutes showcasing their oratory skills on any topic of general interest. The final round was the ‘Mock Indian Parliament’, an emulation of the workings of parliamentary processes, with the participants divided into two groups of Ruling and Opposition parties. It had a Question Hour discussing selected topics of national interest, followed by Bill Discussion on the recent 2020 Farm Bills.

Of the around 513 participants of the quiz, the top 100 qualified for video submission, of which 31 were selected for the final round of ‘Mock Indian Parliament’.
