The IIMB team with Mahalengam M H and Ashish Kishore Fatnani won the contest from among top 10 teams in the final round, out of 65 teams that participated in the first round

09 March, 2022, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore team ‘Icred’ comprising Mahalengam M H and Ashish Kishore Fatnani, both students of the institute’s two-year weekend MBA: Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), have won the ad-making competition ‘MarQAd’, conducted by Marquity, the Marketing Club of Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon. The contest was held in February 2022.

The IIMB team emerged the winner from among the top 10 teams in the final round, out of 65 teams that had participated in the first round.

MarQAd is a national-level advertising challenge that called out for creative minds with marketing brilliance to portray their ad-making skills. It was conducted as part of ‘Imperium 2022’, MDI Gurgaon's annual business, cultural and sports fest. In the first round, participants had to create an innovative advertisement in a poster format for a selected product. The top 10 teams who qualified for the second round were invited to create jingles/videos on the advert they made in the previous round.
