Research Spotlight

Doctoral scholar Anupama Kondayya’s research focuses on the indigenous medical system of Ayurveda and its encounters with the Western medical system during the colonial and post-colonial period. She believes her work will help us better understand how we can support medical pluralism for ensuring universal healthcare.

 

My research attempts to unravel the fundamental question of how individuals make meaning of their work. How do such work meanings emerge and evolve over the course of an individuals’ career? Such a development of work meaning also likely impacts people around the individual – not just their colleagues or teams, but often their organizations, industries or even their country.

 

PhD scholar Rajashik Roy Choudhry’s research focuses on the coping mechanisms of organizations during and after unprecedented shocking events such as wars, pandemics and similar black swan events. His research can provide useful insights to organizations in building resilience for unforeseen events and times of turbulence.
