Centre for Public Policy to host the XIX International Conference on Public Policy & Management from 27 to 29 August
Call for submission of Research Papers, Practitioner Case Studies and Track Proposals by 15 june; announcement of acceptance results on 30 June
22 May, 2024, Bengaluru: The Centre for Public Policy (CPP) at IIM Bangalore will host the XIX International Conference on Public Policy & Management from 27 to 29 August 2024, at the institute campus. The interdisciplinary conference draws scholars representing a diversity of perspectives on public policy issues and provides a forum for showcasing the latest developments in policy research and practice.

The event typically comprises pre-conference activities, academic sessions, topical policy debates, workshops, panel discussions and practitioner-oriented discussions on contemporary topics on public policy and management. The conference is ideal for academicians, students, research scholars, policy practitioners, lawyers, NGO professionals and others with an interest in public policy.

Themes & Dates
The themes for the 2024 conference include: Emerging Technologies and Policy Implications; Policies on Climate Change and Sustainability in Industry and Agriculture; Policy Challenges in Gig and Platform Economy, and Innovations in Public Policy.
Submissions outside the aforementioned themes, but otherwise related to public policy topics, will also be considered.
Authors are invited to submit their original research findings and case studies relating to the above themes and other public policy topics under Research Papers, Practitioner Case Studies or Track Proposals, by 15 June 2024.
Announcement of acceptance results (for all categories of submissions) will be made on 30 June 2024.
Poster Session
Young Scholars Initiative (YSI) South Asia Working Group is collaborating with CPP for a pre-conference workshop and poster session at the 19th International Conference on Public Policy & Management. To apply for the poster presentation, an extended abstract of the research paper needs to be submitted by 15 June 2024. Doctoral scholars in the initial stages of their PhD may present an overview of their thesis in the abstract. Altogether 20 selected scholars will be informed of acceptance by 30 June 2024 and will be invited to present their work at the conference.
