6 February, 2025, Bengaluru: Taking the helm at Bain & Company India, PGP ’09 alumnus Shyam Unnikrishnan has been appointed as Managing Partner, effective April 1, 2025. In his new role, he will oversee the country’s growth, strategy, people, and operations. 

With nearly two decades of experience across Bain’s Sydney, Atlanta, and New Delhi offices, Shyam brings extensive expertise in transformation strategy, market entry, sales acceleration, and merger integration.

During his time at IIMB, Shyam served as the President of the Students' Affairs Council.
