IIMB faculty, scholars and Alumni contribute to Case Study Book on Context-inspired Entrepreneurship

Highlighting grassroots innovation through 25 real-world teaching cases to democratize entrepreneurship education

17 June, 2025, Bangalore: The soft launch of, ‘Context-Inspired Entrepreneurship: Cases from India,’ by Shri Shashank Mani, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) was held on, June 11, 2025.

This book, part of the prestigious and Scopus-indexed Springer Nature Sustainable Development Goals book series, aims to democratize Indian entrepreneurship by bringing impactful, grassroots stories to classrooms across India, especially in Tier 2/3/4 and rural towns. It is an outcome of a larger Government of India funded SPARC grant research project, between Indian and UK universities. This book is edited by Ashish Galande (Indian Institute of Management Udaipur), Elizabeth Rose (Indian Institute of Management Udaipur) and Sreevas Sahasranamam (University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School, UK).

Notably, faculty, PhD Scholars and alumni from IIMB have contributed significantly to this volume:

1. Entrepreneurship Support Organisations – Prof. Srivardhini K. Jha and Charu Rastogi, PhD, Entrepreneurship area.
2. Technology Enabled Inclusion- Prof. Srinivasan R and Anuradha Sharma, PhD, entrepreneurship area.
