The Session features Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer, Accenture

18 November, 2025, Bengaluru: The Centre for Software and Information Technology Management (CSITM) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore will host an IS Research Seminar on December 02, 2025, from 03:00 pm to 04:30 pm (IST), featuring Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Accenture. Dr. Ghosh will deliver a talk titled ‘Future of Consulting in the Age of AI’. The seminar is part of CSITM’s ongoing initiative to promote the dissemination and application of knowledge for the benefit of both academics and industry professionals.

Speaker Details: Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh
Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Accenture and a member of the firm’s Global Management Committee. He leads Accenture’s overall strategy and investment agenda, including ventures, acquisitions, and the development of innovative assets and offerings across its global service portfolio. He also oversees the company’s AI strategy and innovation efforts, leveraging deep research and advanced capabilities to help clients reimagine the future of business.

He spearheads Accenture LearnVantage, the firm’s proprietary learning platform dedicated to closing enterprise skill gaps with industry-specific training at speed and scale.

Previously, Dr. Ghosh served as Group Chief Executive of Accenture Technology Services, where he was responsible for global technology sales, delivery, strategy, and investments. Under his leadership, the group achieved significant advancements in automation, intelligent platforms, and emerging technologies, driving transformative outcomes for organizations worldwide.

A recognized innovator, Dr. Ghosh holds six patents in software engineering and platform development. In 2023, he received the Leadership Excellence Award from the Association of Information Systems for his outstanding contributions to the development and application of information systems globally.

He is also the co-author of Automation Advantage, a widely acclaimed guide for leaders on scaling enterprise automation and integrating AI into organizational processes.

Beyond his role at Accenture, Dr. Ghosh serves as an Independent Director on the Board of HDFC Life. Prior to joining Accenture, he held senior leadership roles at Infosys and Philips.

Dr. Ghosh holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Calcutta University, and a PhD in Business Management from Utkal University.
