मास्टर ऑफ बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (एमबीए)

प्रबंधन में स्नातकोत्तर कार्यक्रम (पीजीपी) स्नातकोत्तर स्तर का कार्यक्रम है जिसे पूरा करने पर मास्टर ऑफ बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (एमबीए) की उपाधि मिलती है। दो वर्ष का पूर्णकालिक, आवासीय कार्यक्रम निरंतर जटिल होते एवं परिवर्तनशील वैश्विक परिदृश्य में विद्यार्थियों को नेतृत्व की भूमिकाओं के लिए तैयार करने हेतु निर्मित है। दो वर्ष की अवधि में फैले इस कार्यक्रम में तीन-तीन माह के छः सत्र होते हैं,और मध्य में समर प्रोजेक्ट करना होता है।

आईआईएमबी अपने पाठ्यक्रम को विश्व में सर्वोत्तम के समकक्ष रखता है जिससे यह सुनिश्चित हो कि इसके द्वारा प्रदान की जाने वाली व्यावसायिक शिक्षा सर्वोत्तम शैक्षणिक प्रथाओं पर आधारित तथा गुणवत्तापूर्ण है । विषय वस्तु तथा इसकी डिजाइन समकालीन एवं उभरते हुए प्रबंधन मुद्दों पर ध्यान देते हुए सुदृढ़ बुनियादी ढांचे द्वारा समर्थित प्रबंधन प्रथाओं से प्रेरित है। कार्यक्रम अवधारणात्मक एवं विश्लेषणात्मक तार्किकता की नींव रखता है और विद्यार्थियों को व्यवसाय की गतिशील दुनिया की समझ प्रदान करता है। यह इस सिद्धांत के गिर्द बना है कि व्यवसाय जगत के नेतृत्वकर्ता थोक में नहीं तैयार किए जाते; उन्हें बहुत ध्यान से पुष्पित-पल्लवित किया जाता है। आईआईएमबी सर्वांगीण,परिवर्तनकारी तथा नवोन्मेषी शिक्षा के जरिए लीडर बनाने में विश्वास रखता है।

आईआईएमबी में बहुल विषयों के उत्कृष्टता केंद्र हैं जो पूंजी बाजार,कार्पोरेट अभिशासन व नागरिकता,उद्यमिता, लोक नीति ,आपूर्ति शृंखला प्रबंधन जैसे विविध विषयों में शिक्षण प्रदान करते हैं।

आईआईएमबी के मूल में इसका संकाय है जिसमें दुनिया भर के विश्वविद्यालयों तथा उद्योगों से 140 से अधिक उच्च योग्यता प्राप्त शोधकर्ता,शिक्षक तथा व्यवसायी हैं। संकाय सदस्य प्रबंधन के सभी कार्य क्षेत्रों में आधुनिक शोध तथा कंसल्टिंग से ज्ञान एकत्र करते हैं।

दिव्यांगजनों हेतु नीति

भारतीय प्रबंध संस्थान, बंगलोर दिव्यांग विद्यार्थियों द्वारा उनमें निहित संभावनाओं को साकार करने में आने वाली सारी बाधाओं को दूर करने का प्रयास करता है। उक्त नीति का उद्देश्य सभी विद्यार्थियों को “समान अवसर” उपलब्ध कराना है। आईआईएमबी दिव्यांग विद्यार्थियों के समक्ष पहुँच से जुड़ी सारी बाधाओं को दूर करने हेतु समयबद्ध कार्यक्रम को लेकर प्रतिबद्ध है। पहुँच में निम्नलिखित शामिल हैं, पर यह सिर्फ इन तक सीमित नहीं है:

• परिसर के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा उपयोग किए जाने वाले सभी हिस्सों तक भौतिक पहुँच
• जहां आवश्यक हो, समुचित प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग कर शिक्षण व संदर्भ सामग्री तक पहुँच
• डबल्यूसीएजी तथा अन्य उपयुक्त मानकों को अपना कर ई संसाधनों तक पहुँच

आईआईएमबी प्रत्येक नामांकित दिव्यांग विद्यार्थी की आवश्यकताओं का अलग-अलग आकलन करेगा और तय करेगा कि उस विद्यार्थी को सर्वोत्तम संभव शैक्षणिक अनुभव दिलाने हेतु क्या किया जाना चाहिए। दिव्यांगता सेवाओं का कार्यालय यह आकलन करेगा तथा यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए केंद्र बिंदु होगा कि विद्यार्थी की जरूरतों की जानकारी प्रत्येक संबद्ध कार्यालय/विभाग /व्यक्ति को दी जाए एवं जरूरतें ठीक ढंग से पूरी की जाएं।

दिव्यांगता वाले विद्यार्थियों के लिए कॅरियर अवसरों का पता लगाने हेतु आईआईएमबी समय रहते कदम उठाएगा तथा भर्तीकर्ता संगठनों को रोजगार की समान अवसर नीतियां एवं प्रथाएँ अपनाने हेतु प्रेरित करेगा।

दिव्यांग विद्यार्थियों के साथ कोई भेदभाव न हो, आईआईएमबी इस हेतु पूरा प्रयास करेगा। समय-समय पर कार्यशालाएँ तथा अभियान आयोजित कर आईआईएमबी,सभी संबंधित लोगों को दिव्यांगता वाले विद्यार्थियों की जरूरतों व उनके द्वारा सामना की जाने वाली चुनौतियों के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाएगा। दिव्यांग विद्यार्थियों के प्रति किसी भेदभाव अथवा असभ्य/असंवेदनशील व्यवहार के प्रति कठोर रुख अपनाया जाएगा और इसके लिए जिम्मेदार संकाय सदस्य,स्टाफ सदस्य, या विद्यार्थी के विरुद्ध अनुशासनिक कार्रवाई की जा सकती है। यद्यपि आईआईएमबी दिव्यांगजन अधिकार अधिनियम तथा अन्य कानूनी प्रावधानों का पालन करता रहेगा। इस नीति का उद्देश्य विधिक अपेक्षाओं से आगे बढ़ कर दिव्यांगता वाले विद्यार्थियों के लिए वास्तव में समर्थक माहौल उपलब्ध कराना है। इस उद्देश्य की दिशा में प्रथम चरण के रूप में, आईआईएमबी ने संस्था के स्तर पर “दिव्यांगता पर समिति” गठित है जो इस पर ध्यान देगी और दिशा दिखाएगी। भविष्य में, आईआईएमबी उद्योग निकायों तथा इस क्षेत्र में कार्यरत ख्यातिप्राप्त गैर-सरकारी संगठनों के साथ भागीदारी स्थापित करेगा।
