9 December, 2025, Bengaluru: Professor Arnab Mukherji, Chairperson of the PGPPM programme and faculty of Public Policy, participated in the regional roundtable on ‘Strengthening Primary Health Care Through Evidence-Informed Policy and Practice’ at the National University of Singapore. The gathering on December 9-10, 2025, brought together policymakers, researchers, implementers, and development partners from across Asia to exchange lessons from ongoing PHC reforms, reflect on how evidence is shaping those reforms, and co-develop strategies to strengthen the integration of research into decision-making.
Prof. Mukherji presented comparative findings from seven to eight country contexts, including Nepal, Chhattisgarh (India), Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Timor-Leste, and Thailand, drawing on work undertaken through the Model2PHC consortium.
