On the opening day of the 8th edition, Prof. Rahul De’, Dean (Programmes) of IIMB, delivered the welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of teaching in management institutions. Prof. Sushanta Mishra shared the session details with the participants while highlighting the criticality of pedagogical innovations.

The programme included carefully chosen sessions and panel discussions covering multiple facets of teaching and learning.

The topics covered in the programme are provided below:

  • Prof. Varun Jindal, faculty in the Finance & Accounting area at IIMB, demonstrated how to teach using the lecture-based methodology.

  • Prof. S Raghunath, retired faculty from the Corporate Strategy and Policy area at IIMB, took interactive sessions on how to design and deliver programmes for business executives and leaders.

  • Prof. Deepti Ganapathy, faculty in the Management Communication area at IIMB, collaborated with the Digital Learning team of IIMB to deliver a session on designing and delivering MOOCs.

  • Prof. Mrityunjay Tiwary, faculty in the Finance & Accounting area at IIM Lucknow, conducted an engaging session on experiential learning through simulations and gamification where participants got the opportunity to play a board game by applying various management concepts.

The panel discussions were on three relevant topics—Course Design, Preparing for the Academic Job Talk, and Entry to Academia. The panellists were the faculty members of IIMB.
