Founder of the non-profit PrashantAdvait Foundation, Acharya Prashant is an author, spiritual teacher, environmentalist, animal rights activist, science activist, and more

4 March, 2025, Bengaluru: The student-run Literature Club of IIM Bangalore will host a guest lecture by Acharya Prashant on 10th March 2025, at the IIMB campus. Acharya Prashant’s profound insights into Vedanta, leadership and ethical decision-making would be of immense value to the IIMB academic community through this interactive session, particularly in guiding future leaders towards a more conscious and principled approach to management and life.

Acharya Prashant is a spiritual teacher rooted in Advait Vedanta. An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, he is an environmental activist, an animal rights activist, a science activist, a campaigner against superstition, and a champion of essential human freedom. He teaches 17 forms of Gita and 60 forms of Upanishads. He has authored several books on philosophy, spirituality, and more, including the bestseller, 'Karma: Why Everything You Know About It Is Wrong'. PETA awarded him the ‘Most Influential Vegan of India’ in 2022. He is the founder of a non-profit organization named PrashantAdvait Foundation.
