Four-day residential programme introduces participants to foundational concepts and real-world applications

21 April, 2026, Bengaluru: The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at IIM Bangalore has announced the inaugural edition of its Certificate Programme in Economics and Data Science, to be delivered on campus from 27 to 30 April 2026.

The four-day residential programme is designed to introduce Grade XII students to foundational concepts in Economics and Data Science, along with their practical applications. Delivered by IIMB faculty, the programme combines diverse pedagogical approaches to offer an immersive learning experience for students graduating in any discipline, and from any board of education. The nomination deadline for the programme is 12th April 2026.

  • Mode: On-campus sessions at IIM Bangalore
  • Dates: April 27–30, 2026

Eligibility

  • Students currently in Grade XII (or equivalent), in any discipline or area of study
  • Students who have completed Grade XII and are awaiting results
  • Students who have completed their Grade XII examination (or equivalent) within the past year

Application process
Interested candidates are required to complete the nomination form. Any incorrect information provided may result in non-selection or cancellation of the completion certificate.

Participation fee details are available in the programme brochure.

Please note: Applicants are encouraged to indicate their interest in economics and data science. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the programme; no examinations or assessments are included.
