04 January, 2018, Bengaluru: ‘Sangharsh’, the inter-IIM sports fest, between IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Lucknow, is to be hosted by IIM Bangalore on the 5th, 6th and 7th of January, 2018.

Sangharsh 2018 will be the 12th edition of the tournament. The Sports Council of IIM Bangalore will organize the event. Anshul Kothari, member of the Indian swimming team, will be the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony, which will be held from 11.15 am on January 05, at the IIMB auditorium. The event will see participation from all the four IIMs with a total contingent of more than 700 players participating in 26 sporting events.

Previous editions of ‘Sangharsh’ saw intense competition and healthy rivalry among the IIMs. IIMA has won the tournament most number of times with 5 trophies in 11 editions, closely followed by IIMB with 3 champion’s trophies.
