IIM Bangalore Alumni Association to host IIMBue Leadership Conclave on 1-2 August 2026
Annual summit to bring together over 1500 leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and changemakers for two days of conversations on leadership, technology and global transformation
31 July, 2026, Bengaluru: The IIM Bangalore Alumni Association (IIMBAA) will host the 2026 edition of IIMBue, its flagship global leadership conclave, on 1st and 2nd August 2026, at The Leela Bhartiya City, Bengaluru. Built around the theme 'Changing the Orbit', the two-day summit is expected to bring together more than 1500 leaders, innovators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, academicians and alumni for conversations on the forces reshaping business, society and leadership.
One of India's largest leadership summits organized by the alumni of any B-School in India, IIMBue has evolved into a platform for dialogue across industries and disciplines, convening global leaders and visionaries to exchange ideas that influence the future.
The 2026 edition will examine shifts in the global economic and geopolitical landscape, how organizations are reinventing themselves for resilience and long-term growth, and the transformative impact of artificial intelligence, deep technology and digital innovation.
The conclave will feature keynote addresses, fireside conversations, panel discussions and networking sessions on topics ranging from geopolitics and healthcare to deep technology, leadership, sustainability, sports and the future of work. Sessions such as ‘The Gravity Shift: Leadership in a Multipolar World’, ‘Frontier Technologies Reshaping India's Future’, ‘Rewiring the System in the Era of AI’, ‘From Molecules to Markets: Scaling Healthcare Across Borders’, and ‘The New Architecture of Growth’ will bring together leading voices from industry, academia and public policy.
The event will open with an inaugural address by Prof. U Dinesh Kumar, Director-in-charge, IIMB, followed by a keynote by Mr. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, on charting the next global trajectory. The programme also features distinguished speakers including Mr. Noel N. Tata, Chairman, Tata Trusts; Mr. Siddharth Sharma, CEO, Tata Trusts; Mr. G.V. Prasad, Co-Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.; Mr. Anand Ramamoorthy, Founding Managing Director, Micron Technology India; diplomat Ambassador Deepak Vohra; actor Mr. Boman Irani; and actor, entrepreneur and and UN SDG Advocate Ms. Bhumi Satish Pednekar, alongside several other leaders from business, government and academia.
In addition to the plenary sessions, delegates will participate in focused break-out discussions on India's emerging sporting economy, alternate career pathways, sustainability and clean technology, financial planning, and India's growing space ecosystem, offering opportunities for deeper engagement and cross-sector collaboration.
