Creative Expressions of Dr. Ambedkar's Vision of Equality...
In commemoration of Ambedkar Jayanthi on 14th April 2025, IIM Bangalore organised an event titled ‘Dr. Ambedkar’s Vision of Equality’. This initiative was to encourage creative expressions reflecting Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, inclusion, and social justice.
This event was open to Institute’s Students of PGP, PGPBA, PhD, EPGP, PGPEM, PGPPM and BBA (DBE), including graduates of the March 2025 Convocation, Executive Program participants, Staff and Faculty of IIM Bangalore.
The creative submissions were invited through digital submissions and in any of the following forms [in English or with English translation provided]:
a. An original essay of 600 words; or
b. Recorded monologue of about 8 minutes; or
c. A poem of around 100 words; or
d. Digital poster of artwork with a prominent Slogan.
We received in all 146 submissions across the four formats.
The submissions were evaluated on a range of parameters, including, relevance to the theme, originality, structure and coherence, language, creativity, form and rhythm, emotional resonance, clarity, and visual impact depending on the submission type.
The submissions were also checked for any form of plagiarism.
