23 January, 2020, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore will host a talk by Dr. Meera Iyer, independent writer and researcher, on the city of Bengaluru, on January 27 (Monday), 2020, between 03.00 pm and 04.00 pm, at Classroom N-001 of IIMB.
Dr. Iyer will walk her audience through the past and help them understand and appreciate how Bengaluru, came to be.
The talk will benefit individuals engaged in researching the history of the city, people who have recently moved into the city and are curious to know more about it, or a long-time resident who would like to relive memories.
About the author:
Dr. Meera Iyer is currently the Convenor of the Bengaluru Chapter of INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage). A former development journalist, she now writes primarily on history, heritage, science, and environmental issues. She has a PhD in Forest Ecology from Michigan State University.
