IIMB’s PGPPM office to host a talk on ‘Best Practices of Good Governance in Haryana’ on October 09

07 October, Bangalore: Rakesh Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Haryana, will address students of the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM) at IIMB on ‘Best Practices of Good Governance in Haryana’ in a Policy Talk at IIMB on October 09. 

Rakesh has been the focal point for ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (Save the girl child, Educate the girl child) campaign in Haryana. During his tenure as Mission Director, National Health Mission for the State of Haryana, an online drug inventory and supply chain management system was established in-house with support from NIC. 

Currently, he is Project Director, Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates Program, and Nodal Officer ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ program, and spearheads numerous interventions to improve transparency and service delivery in the state.
